Occupations removed from occupation list & restrictions on current MLTSSL


 

On 19th of April 2017, 200 occupations were removed entirely from the STSOL.

RESPALL (Migration) Australia advises those Filipino professionals to double check to ensure that their ‘current application is still valid’ and that their occupation was not removed before they continue with their SkillSelect Visa Application for Australia from the Philippines.

A further 16 occupations on the MLTSSL were now restricted to only apply the following visa programmes from the Philippines:

• Skilled – Independent (subclass 189)

• Skilled-Regional (Provisional) (subclass 489), if the applicant is not nominated by a State or Territory government agency

3. Electrical Linesworker**

4. Electronics Engineer**

5. Industrial Engineer**

6. Materials Engineer**

7. Medical Administrator**

8. Pressure Welder**

9. Production Manager (Mining)**

10. Production or Plant Engineer**

11. Project Builder**

12. Ship's Engineer**

13. Ship's Master**

14. Ship's Officer**

15. Stonemason**

16. Telecommunications Network Planner**
