Respall Migration Australia congratulates our permanent visa grants who will be migrating to Australia soon.
Read, Watch and Discover, as they share their stories about the remarkable migration service they experienced during their journey from the Philippines.
My journey to Australia had been inspired by different reasons: one would be as superficial as not spending 2-3 hours just to get to the office where I work every day, and another is to actually explore more culture and social diversity. Third was regarding my professional life. My career path has evolved to a very specific role that about only 2% of us represent the working force globally. My country does not provide jobs that suit my qualifications; and even if they did, it would be two to zero openings a year. As such, I made a decision to move to a country that has a high market demand for what I do. And Australia was the answer. I first started researching ways for me to get there--that included employee sponsorships and a lot of manila based jobs leading to an assignment in Australia. After two years of disappointments, a close of friend of mine, got into Respall. She knew that I was looking to go to Australia as well, and she referred me to it. The cash requirements to be able to have this journey was a lot. That was the first thing I noticed. But it didn't matter to me. Right off the bat, my senior documentation specialist [Melanie], explained to me what was going to happen. How was I--a random IT guy--would ever get a chance to migrate to Australia and get a job that I actually truly want. And the system Australia uses for migration made sense to me. It was a no brainer for me. I said: "Okay, let's do this!" Throughout the process of getting that visa, there were rough days, definitely. I had problems with the exam, with the requirements, with the medical check-up. But all throughout, with a strong heart and lightning focus, I came over these obstacles with Respall's help. I would always ask questions and present every possibility that may happen. The agents would definitely answer everything, and give options for me to decide. Even on new ground--things they have never experienced--they were very welcoming and tried to handle it with as much sense and clarity as possible. For people who are aspiring to go to Australia, Respall is a good agency to help you out. But they won't do everything for you, a lot of the work really comes from you. They are only there to point you to the right direction. Cheers, Eric Lorenzo
